blocSonic and Nine Inch Nails projects

Over the past couple months I’ve been using my spare time to port my site blocSonic.com from Ruby On Rails to PHP in order to help loading time and site stability. I’m still in the process of porting the administrative back-end. Probably another month will be required to complete that. After a short break, I’m resuming the release of monthly collections of free net audio gems. Currently you can find 13 releases at blocSonic.com and 2 more are in the works. They should be released within the next couple weeks.

Besides blocSonic projects, I’ve been keeping myself busy with Nine Inch Nails related creations. First, I’ve been taking part in the Nine Inch Nails “Ghosts Film Festival”. This is bloody great work, MG! From the moment that TR posted his “Ghosts Film Festival” concept video on YouTube a while back, I’ve wanted to work on similar projects but have simply been too sick and too swamped trying to keep my family in our home & fundamentally afloat to have time for anything that didn’t directly & immediately put a healthy & roof over my wife & childrens’ heads, food on their table and immediate stress over these things OUT of their minds…..

But soon, when I’ve nailed down enough of my work and financial obstacles (finding properly paying work that fits in with my rather unique needs and disabilities — even if i succeed in staying in remission and turning away from the nightmare that is the SSDI application process — is job #1; not much else matters until that gets done & it has to happen in the next few days or we’re royally screwed!)……you’d damn well better believe that anything related to NIN & TR projects, I’ll be there working on it when I can!
